Content Imperatives: Unleashing Deeper Rigor for G/T Instruction

Audience: Teachers  |  K-12 Grade

This session will delve even further into the principles of depth and complexity. This course is designed to empower educators with advanced strategies to enhance the learning experience for exceptionally gifted and talented students. Participants will learn how to infuse depth and complexity into existing curriculums, taking their understanding and application to a higher level. This condensed and engaging session equips educators to challenge their students' thinking profoundly, facilitating a more profound exploration of the content imperatives for gifted learners.

Audience: AP Teachers  |  9-12 Grade  

Time: 8:30AM - 11:30AM  |  12:30PM - 4:00PM

This session will cover FRQs, rubrics, student samples, and scoring commentaries for the AP exam, along with the structure of the exam and test-taking strategies. Participants will also work through MC questions and discuss test-taking strategies. Additionally, time will be allocated to identify key takeaways and lessons from the NMSI teacher library that can support these takeaways.
