What can students do in Microsoft Teams?

Besides just voice and video chatting, Microsoft Teams gives students plenty of tools to interact with each other and the teacher, work together. If using Chromebooks, students don’t need to download any software, instead, they use the web versions of many Microsoft applications by going to https://www.office.com/ and using their Dallas ISD credentials to login.

Integration with other Microsoft tools, such as SharePoint, PowerPoint, and OneNote make this tool a hub for learning

• Share screen. This allows a student to share his/her screen with the entire class. Teachers can restrict this so only their screen can be shared.

• Chat with the group. Kids can send a message to the entire class.

• Raise hand. Kids can easily call teacher's attention.
