On 8th August, at around 2.30 pm, the DIU delegate team attended a questions-answers session on the potential PhD candidates and supervisors at USIM. Dr. Nur Khamimi Zainuddin, Prof. Dr. Rozhan Bin Mohammed Idrus, and Mr. Ahmad Farid Mohd Jamal led the session. The Daffodil candidates inquired about the opportunities to pursue research on certain fields like, Prophetic medicine, Instructional Design and Masters in Linguistics Study. Dr. Khamimi Zainuddin and Mr. Faridi assisted the candidates with relevant answers.

Mr. Umam Mustain and Mr. Shekh Maniruzzaman expressed their interests to pursue PhD under the Department of Science and Department of Economics, respectively. Appointments were scheduled for them with their supervisors the next day. The USIM authority reminded the 33% waiver opportunity on the tuition fee for only the DIU candidates on any post graduate study. The meeting ended fruitfully and followed by the session on Blended Learning.
