The Winter Wings Festival is an annual event. The 40th anniversary will be celebrated with over 300 people who have registered in the first month. The festival was made to highlight the effects of climate change on the birds that migrate through the basin of Klamath Basin. Activities such as community nature-related projects will be provided. The Klamath Basin Audubon Society volunteers produce the Winter Wings Festival with help from sponsors, grants, and participant registration fees. It lasts three days over Presidents’ Day weekend, starting Friday at 8:00 AM. The address is Oregon Institute of Technology, 3201 Campus Dr.

Orchapalooza is an impressive event where, not only Grants Pass High School's Orchestra, but also the middle schools get to join together for one event and perform! This year, the theme will be….Masquerade! Each orchestra will have the opportunity to decorate their own masks and match either the theme of a piece they play or match with some friends!
The pieces include music from Phantom of the Opera, Sleepy Hollow, Pirates, Jungle Book, Cakewalk, and Sky Horse! There will be some raffle options available, so keep your ears and eyes open for that!
Due to COVID, the orchestra has not had the chance to host this spectacular event since 2019, so it is an amazing opportunity to have the chance to do this again. I highly recommend attending this exciting event! Please do not forget to keep the masks up so we can continue to have a good time.
If you have any questions, feel free to visit the PAC and talk to Mrs. Debolt, or chat with anyone from the Orchestra Committee (I myself am a part of this committee, so I can lead you in the right direction).
