Students may enroll in a CTE Capstone course after finishing Level 1-3 courses in a CTE program. The Capstone project should depend upon the individual student’s career goals and fulfill one or more of the following:

• Obtaining a relevant industry certification.

• Mastering essential skills determined critical by local industry.

• Developing skills within new and emerging fields.

In collaboration with the student, a CTE teacher will identify and document the individual learning content, including learning objectives, evaluation, and progress monitoring. It is suggested that the student’s parent/guardian, along with administration, are aware of the individual learning outcomes as well.
