Volunteer Hours - If you are turning in volunteer hours, please have your hours turned in to the registrar in the counseling office by Spring Break
CAP & GOWN - Please be sure to order no later than Spring Break (March 17th - March 21st)

Turn in your letters of college acceptance and scholarships to the counseling office to be in the slideshow and graduation program - Deadline May 5th
BE SURE TO ADD YOUR FINAL COLLEGE ON SCHOOLINKS - to avoid the delay of your final transcript being sent to your college of choice. This is part of your check out.

NCAA
If you plan on playing sports in college, students are responsible for registering with the NCAA
Students are responsible for making sure their classes are NCAA-approved. All NCAA-approved classes will have a green check mark next to the class in the FMHS Course Guide. Visit with your counselor or Jenny Wolf if you have any questions.
SENIOR CHECKOUT & REQUIRED STEPS
Senior checkout will be May 9th, 8:00-12:00 in the auditorium. 12:00-3:15 in the counseling office.
Seniors will receive their checkout sheet during 3rd hour class on Monday, May 6th. Students will have all week to have their teachers/college professors sign off on their sheets & pay fees. Counselors will sign off on the sheets last on Friday in the auditorium.
If students do not have a 3rd-hour class, please pick up your checkout sheet in the Counseling office BEFORE Thursday.
To help speed the process, make sure all your fees are paid prior to checkout week (MyPaymentsPlus), library books turned in, and have passing grades!
Caps and Gowns will be picked up on Friday, May 9th in the Auditorium after everything has been signed off on your checkout sheet.
GRADUATION & REHEARSAL
Seniors must have their fees paid, checkout sheet completely signed off, and turned in to the counseling office by the end of the day on May 9th.
Graduation rehearsal is MANDATORY for all graduating seniors at Stocker Stadium on May 12th
Graduation will be held at Stocker Stadium at 6:00 pm

FMHS will be hosting the ASVAB test on February 22, 2024 at 8AM!

Military Bound Students
Take the ASVAB test to qualify for enlistment in the military. Click on ASVAB above for more information or see Ms. Hoffa in the library.
This is also an excellent tool for career exploration.
Talk with your counselor if you need help connecting to a certain branch of the military.

SWAP (SCHOOL TO WORK ALLIANCE PROGRAM) SWAP puts together a Youth Career & Resource Fair every year. This is open to all students across the Grand Valley.

What is the FAFSA form?
Colleges and career schools use the FAFSA form to determine how much financial aid you're eligible to receive, which could include grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans. You must apply for aid every year, but with the right information in hand, it's easy. Please see Ms. Hoffa in the library if you need assistance.
