In this experience, students have the opportunity to make a difference in their community. Students could work together to brainstorm a problem or issue in their greater community, school or classroom. From there they will need to decide as a team the best way to tackle this problem and find a plausible solution.
Whatever the issue, the students will learn to respond to issues that mean something to them and their school. The students will work on communicating with others, accepting others ideas and letting go of some of their own. Once they have their idea, they will propose their solution to their principal or community member.
