What is ARK?

At DMS we follow ARK in our building. ARK stands for: Accountability, Responsibility, and Kindness.

Accountability - taking ownership of your actions, good or bad.

Responsibility - doing what you need to do in a timely manner.

Kindness - be respectful and kind to all.

When students are following ARK they are able to earn Cardunal Cash to use at our school stores, enter quarterly raffle prizes, and teachers may use them for incentives in the classroom.

On October 9th during grade level PE periods students will be celebrating the end of the 1st quarter. During the assembly we will be:

Announcing Quarterly Raffle winners
Attendance Awards
Debut the Midnight Mile Video
Grade level teacher vs student activity

1st School Store

Our 1st ARK School Store is Coming!

We’re excited to announce our first ARK School Store on October 15th and 16th!

Here’s how it works:

The store will be open before school starting at 8:20 am in the IMC.
Students must bring their Cardunal Cash to enter and shop.
After shopping, students should head to their grade-level areas until 8:45 am.
The store will close at 8:52 am so everyone has time to get to Advisory.

Come early, bring your Cardunal Cash, and check out what’s in store!

Quartely Raffle Guidelines

During the quarter students are able to enter the quarterly raffles. To win the quarterly raffle students need to have their first and last name on their Cardunal Cash, and they must be present at the end of quarter celebration.

Boo Gram Fundraiser

Boo Grams are back! 🎃🍭

Each year, ARK hosts its annual Boo Grams fundraiser. This fun tradition helps our ARK (PBIS) team raise money for things like quarterly celebrations, the school store, and raffle prizes.

So, what’s a Boo Gram?
A Boo Gram is a caramel apple sucker that can be purchased for just $1.00. Students can buy one for a friend, a staff member, or even themselves! To send a Boo Gram to a friend, students just need to know their friend’s 9th-period teacher.

Important Dates:

On Sale: During all lunch periods from October 20th–24th
Delivered: During 9th period on October 30th
