February 2025: Module

Module 7- Percents: Did you know that ratios, decimals, percents, and fractions are all equivalent?!? Yes, percentages, decimals, fractions, and ratios are different ways of expressing the same idea: a part of a whole or a relationship between quantities. They're all interchangeable with the proper conversion. The summative for Module 7 will be mid February. Up next, Module 8, focusing on numerical and algebraic expressions.

This month, the students will be learning all about inequalities. We’ll explore how to solve them, graph them, and understand what makes them different from equations. Inequalities are essential for understanding real-world situations where solutions can fall within a range of possibilities.

7th Grade Accelerated Math

Students will be exploring linear functions — how to graph them and apply them to real-world situations. Get ready to master slopes, intercepts, and straight-line graphs!

8th Grade Algebra 1A

February 2025: Module 6

We are continuing to explore functions in the real-world setting. Students will analyze and compare functions and apply them to their daily lives.

8th Grade Honors Algebra

We have just finished up simplifying exponents and now are starting to FOIL and factor! We will practice these skills a significant amount to prepare students for Algebra 2 and the ACT/SAT topics.
