ARK Expectations
At DMS we follow ARK in our building. ARK stands for: Accountability, Responsibility, and Kindness.
Accountability - taking ownership of your actions, good or bad.
Responsibility - doing what you need to do in a timely manner.
Kindness - be respectful and kind to all.
When students are following ARK they are able to earn Cardunal Cash to use at our school stores, enter quarterly raffle prizes, and teachers may use them for incentives in the classroom.

February ARK Lesson
In February, students will engage in an important lesson on recognizing and responding to various situations appropriately. This lesson will help them build essential social-emotional skills, such as managing emotions, problem-solving, and making thoughtful decisions in everyday interactions.
We encourage you to discuss these topics with your child at home and support them as they practice these skills both in and out of the classroom.
