Congratulations to the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Bands on a tremendous Veterans Day Band Concert.  Thank-you to all Veterans and Active Duty members that were in attendance, we appreciate your service.

The Matt Bishop Big Band will perform on Monday, December 9 at 7:00pm at the Dundee Township Senior Center.  The concert will include our ensemble and the HMS Jazz Band.  No tickets required.

If you are looking for instruments, supplies, or music for holiday favors, contact Mr. Kasper with any questions you have, he knows Santa really well!

Congratulations to the 8th Grade Chorus for a wonderful performance at the D300 Choral Festival 

Congratulations to 17 8th grade chorus students for their acceptance into the ILMEA Junior Honors Chorus. This festival will take place on November 16th at Streamwood High School.

Bella Voce & Valiant Voices uniforms are here. Dresses will come home but vests will stay at school. Both these groups will go on a mini choir tour and perform for three elementary schools on November 20th in their formal uniforms.

Looking ahead - In December we will have our Musical Workshop and auditions. BV & VV will perform at the Senior Center and Barnes n' Noble. All choir members are invited to sing at Holiday in the Hollow on December 7th at 4pm. Our chorus holiday concert is on Thursday December 19th. 

Please remind your singer that they should be prepared with their choral binder and pencil on a daily basis and should spit gum out before class begins.  

Our next school Orchestra Concert is Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 7pm (6:30pm student call time). Mark your calendars now 🙂

Congratulations to 8th grader, Sam, for representing DMS at the ILMEA Jr. Festival. The festival orchestra had a great performance.

6th Grade Orchestra Parents and Students - Keep an eye on your email for field trip information and to sign up your student. The 6th grade Orchestra is going to visit Hampshire High School Orchestra in January!

Please make sure that your students have their classroom materials daily: instrument, music, chromebook, pencils.

Please have a conversation with your kids about classroom policy of no food, no gum, or no drinks. Only water is allowed in class.
