Haikus: short poems that have syllables of 5,7,5 per line.

Haikus are easy

But some have zero logic

Refrigerator.

No, i don't want to go

It is too early for school 

I don’t want to wake.

Strumming along the way

 Strumming strumming all the time

Playing my  instrument

Macadamias,

Buttery and delicious.

I love eating them.

(Macadamias are a kind of nut popular for their buttery taste that goes well with chocolate.)

Looking in the trees

What do I see, a strawberry!

I eat, Oh a frog!

(Strawberry Frogs are a species of poison dart frog that was named for its red color and teeny black splotches on their skin)

Sequoia forests.

Majestic and very cool.

A mystical tree.   

(Sequoia trees are some of the tallest trees in the world, and having the tallest tree in the world, known only as general sherman)   

The Sam Young Mysteries By Cameron Trimm

If there was one word to describe Sam Young it is weird. One day his dad took Sam to the museum where he works at as a security guard. When Sam and his dad got to the museum, Sam noticed one of the dinosaur bones was missing. "Dad one of the dinosaur bones went missing!"  Sam told his Dad. Sam noticed a co-worker of his Dad's, Jack, was looking suspicious. The boss arrived and also looked concerned, "Where did it go?" the boss said. Later that day all the workers had an assembly to try to find the missing Dino bone. Still even though all that happened, Sam still slept in the museum with his dad.  The next day Sam told his dad, "Dad I think Jack was the one that stole the bone.".Since Jack was  the one that looked the most suspicious. He and his dad checked Jack's security room. They found nothing. Sam thought, and then said, "that's it dad, check the security cameras!".His dad did check the cameras and they saw a guy in a jacket, boots and a ski mask. The masked man was trying to steal another Dino bone, they rushed to the scene. They found the man putting the bone in a bucket. They stopped  the man. They took off the mask and it was the boss. He was the one stealing the bones. "Dad it was your boss the whole time."  They checked the boss's office and found the first Dinosaur bone that went missing. The police got to the museum and  arrested the boss. So just like that Sam Young solved the Mystery of the Missing Dinosaur Bone.
