CWE Book Fair
When: November 16-20
Growing a love of reading is one of the sweetest parts of elementary school, and we’re excited to partner with Scholastic for this year’s in‑person Book Fair at CWE. Our kids will find shelves full of treasures from picture books and early readers to chapter books, graphic novels, and all the buzzy best sellers they can’t wait to get their paws on.
Every purchase helps our CWE Library stay stocked with fresh stories and resources for all students. It’s a fun and feel‑good way to support our school and spark a lifelong love of reading.
During School Hours: Monday, Nov 16 - Friday, Nov 20 at 10am: Students visit the book fair with their class during school hours. Caretakers are welcome to join their students during our annual Feast Days on [date] & [date].
Evening Hours: Wednesday, Sep 18, 2:30 - 6:00pm
Before the Bell: Any morning Tuesday, Sep 16 through Friday Sep 19, 7:20am to 7:45am
Open Shopping: Friday, Nov 20 from 7:20am to 9:30am. Students may shop with teacher permission, but caretakers can come anytime up until 9:30am.
Additionally, the eBook Fair is open from [date] to [date]. More information on online store coming soon.
During their first visit with their class, students browse the Book Fair and look for stories that spark their interest. They bring home a Browse Sheet with the titles they liked so families can talk together and decide what to purchase or how much, if anything, they want to spend.
If the Browse Sheet gets lost, crumpled, or is hard to read, you can use the Electronic Book Fair to check book prices and get a sense of what your child may be excited about.
During their second visit to the Book Fair, students have the chance to make purchases with their class. Not every child buys during this time. Some families prefer to shop the Electronic Book Fair, shop together outside of school hours, or choose not to shop at all. All choices are welcome.
If a book your child wrote on their Browse Sheet is out of stock on Buy Day, you still have a few helpful options:
It may be available through the Electronic Book Fair.
It might be replenished later in the week, so checking back can help.
There is plenty of variety at the fair, and students almost always find another book they’re excited about.
We will be accepting several forms of payment for the Book Fair:
Cash
Schoolastic Book Fair eWallet
Major credit cards

Yes! Scholastic’s Share the Fair program makes it easy for parents, caregivers, community members, and local businesses to donate directly to our school. These contributions help us purchase books for students who might not otherwise be able to bring home a new story from the Book Fair. It’s a simple way to spread a little extra book‑fair joy to every child. You can make a donation here:
