CVUHSD has a partnership with El Camino College to provide Dual Enrollment classes in CTE day classes, after school, ensure Seniors have a post-secondary plan, and support with ECC enrollment setting them up for success!

College Night features a variety of workshops, resource fair, and twilight campus tours. All prospective students, parents, adult learners, educators, and community members are invited to attend. Workshop topics include Transfer Strategies and Career Educations Programs.

Who qualifies?
Attend El Camino College in the fall semester immediately after graduation from high school- SENIORS
Commit to full-time status of a minimum of 12 units
Complete the enrollment steps below by April 30th of your senior year of high school
You must complete steps 3-6 by the extended April 30th, 2022 deadline to receive a conditional acceptance letter from the South Bay Promise.*
Apply for Admission for Fall 2022 or Summer 2022.
Complete and submit a South Bay Promise Application.
All students are required to submit a 2021-2022 FAFSA or California Dream Act application regardless of income.
Complete the English and Mathematics Placement Survey in MyECC. This will be available once you apply for Fall 2021 Admissions and receive your El Camino Student ID number.
Complete the New Student Orientation.
Meet with an El Camino Counselor to create an Educational Plan.
Connect with an approved South Bay Promise Student Support & Success Program or Pathway (requirements and application deadlines vary). Link to the list of approved South Bay Promise Programs or Pathways.
Register for a minimum of 12 units for both Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. (If you are registered with the Special Resource Center on campus and have been approved, then you are only required to take 9 units for both Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters).
