This will be my 29th year as a Special Educator, Consulting Teacher, and Learning Specialist. I received my bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State College in Interdisciplinary Studies in both Outdoor Education and Business Management. I then went on to earn my Masters degree in Special Education from St. Michael’s College. My post-graduate work began with pursuing my PhD from Northwestern University in the area of Exceptional Student Education. For the last several years I have been in school leadership roles serving in the capacity of supporting school growth in special education. I have lived in Vermont for the vast majority of my life. I have two amazing children of my own and two wonderful step children. I’m so grateful to also be a grandmother to two amazing toddlers! In my free time I love to do anything outside; alpine ski, hike, garden, and mountain bike. I also love to read, create pottery and other art, listen to live music, and most of all to spend time with my family. We have a snuggly Boston Terrier and a fluffy tiger cat that keep me busy too!

My name is Erin Chicoine and I’ve been working as a school social worker in the Williston schools since 2006. In 2010, I began working exclusively in Trek House. Prior to coming to Williston, I was a school social worker in Burlington. I earned my undergraduate and master’s degrees from UVM. I am very passionate about my work with students and families. I collaborating with other school professionals and community providers to best meet the needs of students.
In my free time, I love to run, watch sports and spend time with the my family and friends. I live in Jericho with my husband and two children.

Hi, my name is Katie Cuttitta. I'm a CVSD Special Educator working with 3rd and 4th graders in Equinox at Williston Central School. I have been fortunate to have worked at both ABS and WCS since 1997. As a case manager, I have the opportunity to Co-Teach with all of the classroom teachers on Equinox. I also support student learning in 1:1 and small group work.
Prior to teaching in Williston, I was a special educator in Manchester, Vermont and a first grade classroom teacher in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1993, I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati with teaching licenses in Special Education and Elementary Education. In 2003, I completed my Masters in Education at Saint Michael's College, with a concentration in reading fluency.
In addition to teaching elementary students, I am an instructor in the Special Education Department at the University of Vermont. In order to give back to our community, I spent 4 years as a Board member for the Vermont Family Network. I live in Williston with my husband, our two children and a lovely golden retriever, Brooks. I have had the unique privilege of sharing the same school (WCS/ABS) with my own children!

Hi! My name is Matt Glass and I am in my 13th year at Williston Central School. I am an Intensive Behavioral Needs Special Educator as part of our larger behavior support system. I love having the opportunity each day to help support students on their journey as they learn and grow. I was so fortunate to have caring adults in school as I grew up, and I feel so fortunate to be a small part of our students’ lives here at Williston. In my free time, I love to fish, play golf, and spend time outside with friends and family. I look forward to getting to know all of our students and families and helping in any way that I can.

I am a Cedar House Teacher and Case Manager. Depending on what is needed, I co-teach in Math and Language Arts; I teach small reading, writing and math classes; I am a math and reading interventionist; I support the learning and social-emotional needs of our students. I have been teaching here at Williston Central School since 2000. For fun, I love to travel, hike, enjoy a hot yoga class, and read books! I prefer a life filled with new adventures, new learning and to be surrounded by family and friends as often as possible. Along with my career as a special educator, I am a proud mom to one awesome daughter and a handsome australian labradoodle. My daughter is my adventure buddy!! She loves traveling, going on adventures and planning sleepovers and dates with friends!

Ryan O'Hara
My name is Ryan O’Hara, and this will be my second year at Williston Central School. I am the Special Educator working with 7th- and 8th-grade students on the Spruce Team.
Before coming to Williston, I worked at Colchester Middle School as a long-term substitute teacher, supporting students in grades 6–8 across a variety of subject areas. My goal is to be a trusted source of support for students and to help them feel comfortable seeking assistance when needed. I strive to empower students to explore their ideas, interests, and educational opportunities while building confidence in their abilities.
Outside of school, I spend much of my time coaching high school sports and making time to enjoy life's moments.

Mollie Burke-Bendzunas has lived and worked in Vermont since 2001 starting off as a Special Educator then transitioning in 2008 to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned a Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where she also earned a dual Bachelors degree Special Education and Elementary Education. Her aim as a Speech-Language Pathologist is to inform, empower and uplift children, adolescents and adults using her skills and knowledge to collaborate with you to help you meet your goals. She values and supports all learners and strives to create a safe space to be your authentic self.
Mollie has experience working in a variety of settings, including schools, skilled nursing facilities, the Stern Center and seeing private clients. However, the last 13 years working in a middle school setting has been her favorite! She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a Vermont Educator’s License in Special Education and Speech-Language Pathology. Additionally, Mollie is 2-time ACE Award Recipient for Continuing Education from ASHA. She loves to learn, unlearn and learn again.
Mollie grew up in Minnesota then moved to Pennsylvania with her family during her middle school years. Upon graduating from college in 2001, Mollie moved to Vermont to live and work in this gorgeous state. Currently, Mollie lives in Williston Village with her husband where she is an active member in Williston In Bloom, a group of community members who plant flowers in the town garden beds. Along with her love of gardening, Mollie enjoys spending time outside hiking, paddleboarding, running, snowshoeing, skiing and traveling. She looks forward to joining the Williston Central School community this year.

Ryan Palmer is a Special Educator working with third and fourth graders on the Kaleidoscope Team at Williston Central School. Prior to his current role Ryan was an Autism Specialist at Williston, working with students from third to eighth grade. In this role Ryan’s focus was on teaching students social cognition and behavior management skills.
Ryan received his undergraduate degree in Education from Franklin Pierce University. Ryan was also a member of the Franklin Pierce Men’s Lacrosse Team and continues his passion for the sport as a coach. Ryan has been part of the Champlain Valley Union High School Boy’s Lacrosse coaching staff for the past 5 years. Ryan continues to coach in the off-season with the 802 Lacrosse Club Team, coaching elite high school boys from around the state.
Currently, Ryan is in the process of completing his Masters in Special Education at Saint Michael's College.
Out of school Ryan enjoys woodworking, fly fishing, and spending time with friends and family.

My name is Morgan Rocissono. I have been working at Williston Central school since 2013. I received my Masters in education in 2012 from The University of Vermont. I am a special educator on the Mosaic Team: grades 3 and 4. I collaborate with 4 general educators to support all students on our team.
Courtney Sherman- earned her associate's degree in Liberal Studies from the Community College of Vermont. She then went on to earn her BA in Studio Art and English with a minor in Art History, and further studied to earn her MA in Special Education, both at the University of Vermont. She attended a 1 year certificate program in Environmental Science at Philadelphia University. This is her 6th year at Williston Central School. As a Clover Special Educator, she prides herself on being a "5th" teacher on house. She has strong philosophies regarding education and believes that all students have the capability to learn and grow and that they do so better when included in their classrooms. While education is a major passion, she also works throughout the year as a wedding florist. She spends her summers in Gambia and Senegal, West Africa, where her husband currently resides. Culture and diversity are great interests of hers as well as volunteering and helping the less fortunate both stateside and abroad. When not in Africa or busy at school, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Aura. She currently lives in Jericho Center and anxiously awaits the day when her husband is able to join her in the states.

Hi, my name is Angie Thibault and I have been a Speech Language Pathologist at Williston Central School since 2005. I graduated with a Masters in Communication Sciences from the University of Vermont. I hold a certificate of clinical competence and am an active member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. I have co-facilitated our district wide in-service trainings for our SLP professional learning community and served as a mentor to new teachers since 2013.
I absolutely love my career. I am lucky to work with amazing children to help them communicate more effectively. I also have colleagues who continuously impress me with their abilities. My bucket is constantly filled spending time with my colleagues and students. In my free time I enjoy golfing, boating, traveling and spending as much time as possible with my friends and family.
