Hinesburg

I have had the pleasure of working in the Champlain Valley School District since 2013. Before coming to Hinesburg, I worked at the Williston Central School, and in both Addison and Washington counties, as a special educator. I also have many fond memories of teaching preschool in Maryland and North Carolina prior to moving to Vermont. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and my graduate degree from St. Michael's College. I love working at HCS and CVSD. Among many other things, I am proud of our MTSS systems and our commitment to inclusive practices and early intervention. In addition to HCS, my other role within CVSD includes coordination of evaluations and services plans for students who attend independent schools. I live in Bristol with my husband and my two kids. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, read, do yoga, run and travel to anywhere warm.

Welcome to HCS! My name is Jen Bradford, and I am the special educator working with the 7th grade team. My goal each day is to give every student a sense of belonging and to help them grow in their confidence socially and academically. I live in Hinesburg and my own children spent their K-8 careers here. My daughter now attends St John Fisher College in Rochester, NY and my son is a junior at UVM. Prior to moving to Vermont, I taught high school English in Newark, NY for 12 years. When I am not teaching, I like to run, read, ski and spend time with my family. I am also really hoping that the Buffalo Bills have a good season!
