Required Materials

Textbook

The textbook must be brought to class everyday.

Pencils

Pencils will be in constant use in this class. I recommend that you get several for use for this class alone. Pens are not allowed.

Math Notebook

Ruled paper (college or wide) is required. Students can expect to use 150-300 pages throughout the course of the year. It is acceptable and even encouraged to use multiple notebooks rather than one large notebook for this purpose.

Straight Edge

Any ridged straight edge that can be used for graphing and construction will satisfy this need. Rulers are a great option. While not required, I personally like using a straight edge that is 6 to 8 inches long as that is all the length that you will need.

Scientific Calculator

You are required to have a scientific calculator. I recommend one of the scientific calculators shown. Any calculator, in any form. that has wireless communication or advanced algebraic solvers (such as the TI-89) are prohibited for this class.
