Exams must be taken as scheduled. Missing prep classes does not change this. Typically exams are 35–50 minutes, so practice problems ahead of time so that you are sufficiently prepared to finish within the allotted time.
Be on time: Arrive before the exam starts. Late arrivals may not get extra time.
Eyes on your own material: Do not let your eyes wander around the room.
Remain quiet: during the entire exam process, even if you personally have completed your own exam.
Bring materials: Only bring approved supplies (calculator, pencil, eraser, scratch paper). No phones or smart devices.
No sharing: Do not share work, answers, or materials with other students.
Stay seated: If you need to talk with the teacher your may get up and go to the teacher. Otherwise do not leave your seat.
No talking:
Follow instructions: Read directions carefully before starting each section.
Use time wisely: Manage your time so you can attempt all questions.
Integrity matters: Cheating or plagiarism will result in a zero and further consequences.
Violation of any of the exam rules can invalidate the entire exam. A score of zero will be awarded for the exam and depending on the circumstances the retake privilege might be revoked.
