This play is based on Kenneth Grahame’s wonderful short story, The Reluctant  Dragon which appears in his 1898 book Dream Days. In recent years this story has inspired many films and books and animated shorts. What makes this story  so enduring and timeless? When the bad guy turns out to be the good guy it  makes us question everything. 

Sometimes we find, it’s best to stop fighting and  simply become friends.
