College of DuPage offers several options for students to continue their education. Below is information about the most common paths students utilize as well as links to COD's website for more information.
Certificate programs are for students who are interested in taking technical or professional courses that will allow them to enter a field of employment in less than 2 years.
Many of the Associate degree programs are designed for students who plan to transfer to a 4-year college or university. However some are designed to accommodate students personal interests or prepare students to enter a technical career in 2 years or less.
Students can earn a Bachelor's degree via COD's partnerships with local colleges. The first 3 years of coursework will be completed at COD. The final year's classes will be taught by professors from the partner college or university.
One of the many benefits of attending COD is affordability. The tuition cost for a full time student (taking 5 classes/semester) is just over $4,000.
Reading and Writing placement testing can be waived with a non-weighted 2.6 GPA. Most students pursuing an Associate's Degree will need to take the math placement test.
