COLLEGE & TESTING FEE WAIVER
If you qualify for free/reduced lunch or a district fee wavier, you may qualify for a college & SAT/ACT fee waiver. Ask your counselor for more information!
If you are applying to college via the Common Application, your counselor will automatically be notified that you requested an application fee waiver. If you are not applying via Common App, please read below:
Below are the steps for completing and submitting the NACAC Request for Admission Application Fee Waiver form (only to be used for non-Common App schools):
You write the name of the college or university on the top line. If you are applying to multiple schools, you can leave this section blank.
You complete the Student section and check the appropriate box(es) in the Economic Need section. If none of the traditional boxes apply, you should check "Other request..." and briefly explain your financial need for an application fee waiver on the lines provided.
Email form to your counselor.
Your counselor completes the Authorized Official section and verifies the your economic eligibility. They will look to see if you receive or are eligible to receive free/reduced lunch at the high school.
When steps 1-4 are completed, your counselor can upload your form to SchooLinks to be sent to the schools in which you are applying.
