Victor (Vic) Scimeca - 1990-2021

Vic Scimeca earned his Bachelor of Music Education from Northern Illinois University and

received his Master Degree in Music Education from Vandercook College of Music. Scimeca

taught at Fenwick HS and Nazareth Academy for 7 years prior to coming to Wheaton in 1990.

During his time as Director of Bands at Wheaton Central/Wheaton Warrenville South HS, the

program earned numerous awards for performances on the field and in the concert hall. The

band traveled to Toronto and made several trips to visit Mickey! In addition to parade

performances down Mainstreet USA and on stage at Disney Springs, the band performed in

Disney’s Thanksgiving Parade of Bands.
