Basketball Pep Band

All WWS Band members are required to do an assigned number of home girls’ & boys’ basketball games, as it is a part of the concert band requirements. As part of our band’s commitment to WWS high school, it is expected that each band member participates in four home basketball games, similar to the marching band being a part of all football games. Students may choose which four games work best with their schedule.

Show Band

These band members accompany South's award-winning show choirs (Classics & Esprit) during their competitive spring seasons at local and national festivals. These students are expected to rehearse with the show choir on a weekly basis and travel to all events. Questions can be directed to christopher.miller@cusd200.org.

Musical Pit Orchestra

A seasonal group, this ensemble performs during the student musicals. Numbers and instrumentation varies greatly upon the musical selected. This group will provide opportunities for various wind/string players, pianists and drum set players. Sign up generally occurs in March. Questions can be directed to allison.chang@cusd200.org.
