The Branham High School yearbook, the Ursa Major, has a very unique purpose - to document the student experience every year. Students will receive hands-on experience in graphic design, interviewing, photography, and more. Many students take yearbook more than once not only because they want to improve their skills but because they have great pride in their work and feel close to their fellow classmates. After an introductory unit in August-September, production of the book is divided into 5 deadlines. The book is usually finished by March/April, allowing students to focus on sales, distribution, and ideas for next year until the school year ends. Questions about yearbook? Email the adviser, Ms. McKay, at kmckay@cuhsd.org.
