We are looking forward to welcoming the class of 2029 to the Bruin family! Please look through our website for helpful resources and answers to your questions. Please note that counselors are attending to the needs of our current students and families, so we are unable to accommodate meeting requests for students who do not yet attend Branham High School. However, you are welcome to send us questions via email which we will be happy to answer.
COUNSELOR AND/OR ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL VISITS
Assistant Principals and/or School Counselors will give a presentation to students including information on freshman year and the available courses to choose from. Students should have received instructions on how to register for classes through Informed K12 in the mail. If you have any questions on registering for classes, please contact the Main Office at 408-626-3407 ext. 7100. These visits are in early February.
CHOOSING YOUR CLASSES
Choose your classes wisely. Get input from current teachers and counselors. Programs such as Band, ROTC and Leadership build strong students by teaching you how to balance your time with academics and extracurricular activities.
Keep in mind that all courses are a year-long commitment--including electives. Students have until May 1st to change their course selections for each upcoming school year selection. Eighth grade students can change their course selections by e-mailing their assigned counselor (counselor contact info is found in the Counseling Department Overview section).
It is important to select your first, second, and third choice electives when filling out the K-12 form. Electives fill up fast and we want to make sure we try to place you in a class you will enjoy!
