BENEFITS TO CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT
Benefits include:
Students earn college credit.
Courses and units may earn transfer to the other community colleges as well as universities.
With approval, students can enroll in classes as long as it doesn't conflict with their Branham bell schedule.
Courses are part of a major, college general education, and/or electives.
Get experience with college professors and in a college environment.
Location: Varies
Open to: 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade students
Important Things to Note:
Students must get approval for Concurrent Enrollment courses PRIOR to enrolling in the course.
Core classes must be taken at BHS.
STEPS FOR CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT COURSES
Research which community college you'd like to attend and what class you wish to register for.

This form will get directed to your counselor and they will be able to sign off on the concurrent enrollment class you are trying to take
If you have a different concurrent enrollment form, you will need to include your counselors email or bring in a copy so we can sign it off. Please remember you cannot receive credit for courses taken outside of Branham High School.
After you get approval from your counselor, please apply to your desired community college (i.e. West Valley) and enroll in your necessary class. You will need a Community College ID in order to apply for the class.
**Approval from your counselor does not guarantee you a spot in your Concurrent Enrollment Course. You must complete the application and all steps required.**
**Community colleges require anyone under 18 years of age to get a Concurrent Enrollment form signed in order to take a college course. The form is obtained directly from the community college and must be signed by your school counselor.**

Please note that each community college has its own form and process for registering for classes so please make sure to read all instructions.
