BENEFITS OF TAKING AP COURSES
Students who take an AP course are exposed to a college level curriculum.
Students exposed to this curriculum have a higher rate of success in college than those who do not.
Students who take an AP course and pass the corresponding exam with a 3 or better earn college level credit. *some colleges are requiring 4’s and 5’s, as previously stated. AP Credit Policy
A student has the potential to start college already ahead of other freshman students.
A student’s rigorous class schedule is beginning to become more important than overall GPA as it relates to college admissions.
One of the greatest benefits of taking an AP course is the influence on students’ future college major/interests.
