Two things will for sure bring your chat to another level: adding a mic and adding the background music.

In order to combine the sound from a microphone, phone, laptop, and maybe music instruments, many hosts use a sound mixer or a sound card with fun effects. However, it might be tricky to figure out how to connect them all with various adapters and cables.

Here is an affordable yet relatively simple Sound Card on Amazon. The product comes with limited instructions, so we added some more for our Cuddlers here. For more info in English regarding this product, please also see this YouTube video.

The best feature of this sound card is that it works with smartphones, PCs, and Macs, and with it, you can add sound effects as well as background music into your live chat.

To set up, first, find the micro USB to 3.5mm audio plug cable inside the box.

Connect your phone and the sound card by plugging the 3.5mm audio plug into the audio jack on your phone and plugging the other end of the cable to the “Live 1” micro USB slot on the soundcard.

If you are using the microphone on your headphones or earphones, just plug the 3.5mm audio plug into the “Headset” jack on the sound card.

For more professional microphones such as this microphone, just plug it into the Condenser mic jack or Dynamic mic jack on the sound card accordingly.

With this sound card, you could monitor the mixed audio effect through the headphones or earphones.

To add background music, simply play music on another phone or laptop, and connect it to the 'Accompany Instrument' slot.
