red, the most pure you could imagine
red, in every sense of the word
and so attuned to the green
surrounding it
yet it is not overpowered
gather, it stands out due to contrast
growing from the bud outward, golden,
golden, with golden lavender velvet in the
red
growing outward, growing
outward
expanding, consuming more space
more of the light that shivers,
trembles,
in the warm morning air.
