The Folger Shakespeare Library

The Folger Shakespeare Library is one of the nation's premiere centers for the study of late medieval and early modern culture and society, with an emphasis on the works of William Shakespeare. The Library is also home to a theater, and there are often family-friendly productions especially aimed at younger theater-goers. The Library has also created an extensive collection of online teaching and  learning resources. (NB: The Library is currently closed for renovations, but is scheduled to re-open in late 2023.)
