The Digital Guide the Medieval DC was created to accompany the Medieval Academy of America's 98th Annual Meeting held in Washington, DC in February, 2023. This event brought together many medievalists in the DC area and inspired the project team to showcase local resources to study the Middle Ages for a broader audience. We are particularly thankful to Humanities DC, The Catholic University of America, DC Public Schools, the institutions features in the guide, and all of our medievalist colleagues, especially Jill Fitzgerald and Jace Stuckey, for their inspiration and support in bringing this project to its current form.
