The SafePi device is a home security system that emphasizes digital security in addition to physical security. SafePi is designed to be incorporated into an IoT ecosystem that implements the secure generation and storage of cryptographic keys in a web-based backend, the secure transmission of these keys over encrypted internet transmissions, and the secure provisioning of new SafePi devices by exchanging these cryptographic keys via encrypted Bluetooth Low Energy.
