Triqui is an indigenous language that originates from Mexico and is commonly spoken in Greenfield California. Locals in this area often have trouble navigating the healthcare, education, and legal systems due to language barriers. While there are interpreters, there are also many modern words and phrases that do not have a direct translation in Triqui such as "autism" or "PTSD". Without a platform to share translation knowledge, interpreters struggle to convey accurate translations during interpreting sessions. This web application aims to work as an interactive dictionary for Triqui interpreters. With this tool, interpreters will be able to access the vocabulary, edit, update, and create new translations.
