SAFETY: Safety is our #1 priority! It takes all of us to keep our school family safe.
All visitors must sign in at the front office and wear a visitor's tag with the destination on the tag. Visitors must provide a driver's license or state ID when signing in at the office.
If attending Morning Assembly, guests must sign in at the front office.
Return the visitor's tag and obtain your driver's license/state ID when leaving the building.
Please use front doors to enter and exit the building.
Do not ask a student/adult to open an exterior door for you.

Teacher Communication: Schoology, Email, Text, and School Phone Contact

Monday folders are sent home every Monday that will include community flyers, PTO information, notes, and/or student work.
ARRIVAL
Doors will open at 7:15 a.m. If your child is dropped off prior to this time, they will be unsupervised. We do not encourage drop-offs before 7:15 a.m. Breakfast is served 7:20 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
To help with a smooth flow of traffic, students should enter and exit cars using the passenger side of the vehicle. It is also very helpful if students can click in/out of their car seats on their own.
Please do not drop off your child in the front of the school. This area is for pre-k and students with medical needs only.
No cell phones in a school zone. It's the law which can result in a citation!
MORNING ASSEMBLY
Each morning (with the exception of the first day), GP will have morning assembly in the gym promptly beginning at 7:40. This will be our time to gather as a school family. We lead the pledges, celebrate birthdays, and make announcements. If you would like to join, make sure to check in at the front office before going to the gym.
DISMISSAL
Dismissal Time: 3:15 p.m.
If you need to change after school transportation for your child, please call the front office before 2:30 p.m. to ensure your child and teacher are aware of the change. Do not email after school changes to your child's teacher.
Always check your child out through the office for early checkout. Teachers cannot release your child to you without a call from the office.
At dismissal, walkers will exit by the bike lanes and cafeteria doors. A walker is considered a student that walks home. A car rider is a student who rides in a vehicle to go home.
The front of the school arrival/dismissal area is for students with medical needs or enrolled in PreK.
Cell Phones
Party Invitations
If sending to school to hand out, all students must be invited. We are unable to pass out invitations if the whole class is not invited.
Nurse
CSISD nurses (along with other Texas districts) will ONLY be able to administer over-the-counter (OTC) medications WITH a healthcare provider's (physician, PA, NP, etc.) order/signature.
