Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. McMurray, Mrs. Ginn, and Mrs. Haass
Homework: There will not be required weekly homework in 4th grade. We will send work as needed for review or if your child has not completed classwork. We encourage students to read and work on a math program for about 20 minutes each per day.
How can I help my child at home? Encourage your child to work on their multiplication fluency. There will be several websites they can access through Schoology. For example, Fun 4 The Brain, ST Math, and Edmentum. Encourage your child to read or listen to an audiobook for 100 minutes a week!

SNACKS: We will have a snack time during the day as needed. Please send your child with a healthy snack (such as crackers, fruit, jerky, cheese, or pretzels). Please be mindful of students who may have allergies and make sure your child has what they need to eat their snack (i.e. a spoon). Students can't learn when they are hungry, so we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you send a snack and spill proof water bottle everyday.
BIRTHDAYS: We would love to celebrate your child's birthday! We will do so after lunch or at the end of the day. If you choose to send a treat, please let your child's teacher know ahead of time. Please send individual items if you choose to send a treat for your child's birthday! Some suggestions: cupcakes, cookies, Little Debbie snacks, Twinkies, etc. If you choose to send a cookie cake, please pre-slice it.
4th grade will be going on 4 field trips this year.
November 2025: Washington on the Brazos

More information and dates will come as we get closer to the field trips.
SHOES: Your child will need tennis shoes for P.E. and recess everyday.
WATER BOTTLES: Send a spill-proof water bottle every day and make sure it is clearly labeled with your child's name. It is H-O-T outside!
CROSSBODY PURSES: Please do not send crossbody purses as part of your child's outfit.
