A brand-new facility next to the Ag Science Center
Open to high school students (grades 10–12)
Students take most classes at their home campus and travel to the CTE Center for two periods of their specialized course
No transfers required! Students can stay fully involved in fine arts, athletics, and other activities at their home school
College Station ISD is excited to announce the opening of a new Career & Technical Education (CTE) Center in Fall 2026!
This innovative facility will provide students with hands-on experiences and training in high-demand career fields, preparing them for success beyond graduation.
Located next to the Ag Science Center, the new CTE Center will expand the district’s opportunities for real-world, skill-based learning. The facility will feature industry-standard equipment, labs, and workspaces designed to help students explore their interests, earn certifications, and connect classroom learning with future careers.
The CSISD CTE Center will offer programs in:
Ag Mechanics
Automotive
Construction
Cosmetology
Welding
Animal & Wildlife Science
These programs will be available to high school students in grades 10–12, allowing them to explore career pathways while still enjoying all the experiences of their home campus — from pep rallies and fine arts to athletics and student clubs.
Students will spend most of their day at their home school and travel to the CTE Center for two specialized class periods.
High School Students (grades 10–12): You will register for these courses using Xello, just like you would for any other classes, in the Spring.
7th & 8th Grade Students: You will have the opportunity to select CTE courses when you create your 4-year plan in Xello. This is a great time to begin thinking about your future career path and the exciting programs available at the new CTE Center.
Students will attend their home campus for most of their day and will only need to travel to the CTE Center for their specialized courses. This means there is no need to transfer schools; students will be able to stay involved in their current extracurricular activities, like fine arts and athletics, while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
When reading the course offerings below, you will see how the courses fit into a complete CTE Program of Study.
The format of information: Course Name (class periods/credits) @ location of class. All classes at the CTE Center are 2+ periods, since they are not at your home campus, but FREE CSISD transportation will be provided from each home campus to the CTE Center and back.
