Art 1 students are introduced to the Elements of Art (line, shape, color, form, value, space, and texture), as well as the Principles of Design (emphasis, proportion, repetition, variety, pattern, and rhythm).
These students completed a variety of projects, including emphasis portraits, scratch art animals, foil repousse reliefs, clay bowls, two-point perspective cities, and Kandinsky inspired compositions. There are even two examples of patterns created from items found in nature that were completed during the At Home Learning time.
