The Municipality of Sainte-Cécile-de-Whitton

Only 10 minutes from Lac Mégantic, Sainte-Cécile-de-Whitton is located in the Granite county, in the Eastern Townships. It was founded in 1870, and is celebrated for its rich and fertile land, surrounding forests, lakes and granite quarries. To add to its charm, this cozy village is named after Saint- Cécilia, the patron saint of music.

The Lac des trois Milles, located on chemin Lac des Trois Milles sud in Sainte-Cécile-de-Whitton, is perfect for nature lovers, outdoor activity enthusiasts, and you can even rent a cabin along its shores for a simple get-a-way.


Tragic Plane Crash

On October 30th, 1944, the community of Sainte-Cécile-de-Whitton was devastated by a plane crash, leaving five people dead.


Sugar Shack Bellavance

Located on 733 chemin Bellavance, in Sainte-Cécile-de-Whitton, the sugar shack Bellavance has been serving the community with their delicious food since 1977.


OTJ Ste-Cécile

Since 1983, the day camp located on rue Principale in Sainte-Cécile-de-Whitton, has been taking care of children from the ages of 5 to 11 years with a diversity of activities and outings.


Saint-Samuel Station Park

On route 263, in Saint-Samuel Station, the park has been an important part of the community since 2009, and continues to gather people together.


Station Rock

Every last Saturday in August, at the ice rink at 160 rue Rancourt in Saint-Samuel Station, the day camp (OTJ) puts on a one day event to bring family and friends together with a diversity of activities and concerts.
