The statue of Oscar Lessard is on Principal west street in Martinville. It was built on June 20th, 2010. The silhouette is cut from a corten steel plate.


Fire Station, Barston West

The Fire Station is situated at 2097 Way’s Mills road. The building was built in 1952. The fire station closed in 1982.

The Cenotaph of World War 1, Stanstead

This monument is 99 years old and it was created on January 1st, 1923. The cenotaph is situated at 4115, road 143, in Stanstead, at the Dufferin Heights’ golf club.


Indian Stream

This place is on the border of both Canada and the USA. The village was shared by both nations. The people of this village lived under their own set of rules.


The Louis-St-Laurent Museum, Compton

Louis-St-Laurent was the Prime Minister of Canada between 1948 and 1957. The museum contains many objects which belonged to him and his father.


Saint-Edwidge Church, St-Edwidge

Situated at 34 street Main east in the middle of Coaticook. The library was founded in 1959. With its 680m2, there is a book there for everybody no matter where your interests lie.


Saint-Edmond Cemetery, Coaticook

It is located on Saint-Jacques street in the north of Coaticook. The cemetery opened in 1868. In the graveyard there are approximately 3698 monuments. Saint-Edmond cemetery is the first graveyard created in Coaticook.


The Holme’s Round Barn, Barnston-West

It is located at 2523 Holmes Street, in Barnston-West, near Kingscroft street. It was built in 1907 by William Henry Holmes who was a dairy farmer.

Hyatt School and St-Barnabas Church, Waterville

This Catholic church and the school are situated on road 147, on the corner of McVety Road, in Milby. The school was built in 1825 and it is a small red school. The school only had one class inside.


Guérin Résidence/ Cutter House

The first plan of the Residence Gérin (also known as the Cutting House) was made in 1842; 180 years ago. The Residence Gérin is situated at 40 Gérin Lajoie street in Coaticook. The House is made of wood and its architecture attracts the most attention.


Mansur School, Stanstead

The school was built in 1818. This English school is situated in Stansted, at 1885 Curtis road. Go for a visit and spend a moment suspended in time.


Church Museum, Saint-Venant-de-Paquette

This church was built by Jean Baptiste Verret and took 10 years to complete. It’s a treasure inside and outside.


The Pavillon des Arts et de la Culture de Coaticook

It is situated at 116 Wellington street in Coaticook. The land was donated by Richard Baldwin Jr. He is the founder of Coaticook. The Architect of the Pavillon des Arts et de la Culture is Harold Gillyn James. Today, you can enjoy a variety of shows in this beautiful building.


The St-Cuthbert Church, Dixville

This church is located at 359 Chamberlain street in Dixville. It was built in 1884.


The Old Burroughs Fall Power Station

It's a forgotten fall on route 143 towards the American frontier from Ayer’s Cliff towards Stansted and a small dam on the Niger river. It was the site of a mill, a dam and perhaps even something a little more illegal!


Compton Cemetery

It is located on Cochrane street, in Compton. It opened around 1815 and it’s an English cemetery. Its other name is St James Anglican Cemetery. The oldest tombstone belongs to Betsley C. Spafford who died April 2nd, 1815.


The Drouin Covered Bridge, Compton

This bridge is 1 of 3 covered bridges with multi-point trusses remaining in Québec. Its watercourse is the Coaticook river. Its construction started in 1886 after the collapse of the Spafford bridge, and finished in 1889.


The Collège Rivier

It’s a small private high school that opened in 1870. Its location is 343 street Saint-Jacques in Coaticook. This wonderful college was created by Marie Rivier.


CIBC Bank, Coaticook

It was created in 1958 by Benjamin Pomroy and another associate. The 1st person to enter the bank was in 1912. Before being the bank, this building was the old post office.


Community Center, Barnston West

The community center was built by Clarissa Clark Bean and Elizabeth Carmer. It opened in 1904.


The Municipal Office, Stanstead-East

The founder of this municipality is John Cass. The school of Cassville became the town hall in 1932.


The Manor and the Water Tower, Waterville

The water tower in Waterville is situated at 160 Dominion way. This place represents the old industry during industrialisation. The Gale manor is situated at 265 Compton east in Waterville.
