The Crestwood High School Chapter of the National Honor Society had an NHS Scholarship Finalist and two (2) semifinalists for the seond consecutive year. Maher Harp was honored as one of only 24 Scholarship Finalists from around the U.S. for an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. last April 3-6 where he attended the NHS Trailblazing Leadership Week. As a result of this achievement, Maher won a scholarship of $5,625. Isabella Jomaa and Mahdi Nassereddine were also named NHS Scholarship Semi-Finalists. These extraordinary students each earned scholarship worth $3,200 each. Our Chapter is committed to the pursuit of academic excellence, the development of sound character and responsible leaership skills, as well as selfless service to others.

Savannah was honored as one of only 24 Scholarship Finalists from around the U.S. for an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. As a result of this achievement, Savannah won a scholarship of $5,625. Omar Ahmad and Hadi Salame were also named NHS Scholarship Semi-Finalists. These extraordinary students each earned scholarship worth $3,200 each.
Nour Kochaiche was a semifinalist in 2022, this extraordinary young lady earned scholarship worth $3,200 to help her with college expenses. Nour was an important part of our school's GLOBE Program and help to facilitate research and communication with a school we partnered with in Thailand before COVID struck.
Ali Eter was a semifinalist in 2019, this incredible young man earned scholarship worth $3,200 to help him with college expenses. As Vice President of our chapter, Ali organized and led blood drives which led to an unprecedented number of pints of blood being donated throughout the year. As a result, he earned a top scholarship from the American Red Cross. Ali was also a very important part of our school's GLOBE Program and his team's research on the 2017 partial solar eclipse led to a chance to present their research at the world level. His team participated in a week-long GLE (Global Learning Expedition) in Killarney, Island during July 2018. He also worked hard to help our school earn the distinction of being a Michigan "Green School".
