Alternative policies are backup plans to the main solution in case the main solution doesn't work. Alternative policies can be very helpful when it comes to Anti-violence since there can never be one solution to a problem especially when it comes to school violence since some people need different solutions for different reasons. According to The CDC it states,"Youth violence is a serious problem that can have long lasting harmful effects on victims and their families, friends, and communities..."Youth violence refer to harmful behaviors that can start early and continue into young adulthood..." If we don't stop this before it happens it can lead to more problems.
