This folder was begun in June of 2018, when Georgia Allen sent a note to us about Hal’s death. We had seen Hal at our 55th Reunion two years earlier. 

We could not find evidence on-line of an obituary for Hal, but Classmate comments seemed to fill the bill.

Not sure whose job it is to share sad news. 

There is already enough of that to go around these days. 

And...face it...when we get into this ninth decade, no one is too surprised when another one of us is “called Home “, as the obit writers like to phrase it. 

Some think it might be better to just let each event pass without making any note of it.

But some have strong feelings about all of our group that moved through those years together. 

What a Class Act you (we) all were! 

When any one of us does wrap it up , it seems appropriate to recall that person; to celebrate, with some mix of sadness and joy, the life we were so privileged to briefly share.
