We went down, with Family. Arrived an hour early...went next door to Doyle's. We ordered lunch.
No problem. Took our order. Brought our drinks. Then they noticed Jack in his Infant Seat. Under 21; cordially asked us to leave. we did. took the order to go.Â
 Jack's First Carding. Â

                                                        Five Haikus, with Insulation
Haikus carry some weight; seventeen serous syllables, not much room for levity.. Close perhaps to the secular liturgy of wine tasting ?
After each challenge, palate-cleansing white bread.
And so,between each of these Haikus, something to cleanse the pre-frontal palate.
The choice? “The limerick is usually funny or nonsensical in tone and subject.”Â
The source of these Limericks?
Dan Webster, with The Spokane Spokesman Review, held a "Limerick Contest' each March for decades.
Each st. Patrick's Day, the game was on...winners were published, and awards made.....
Your author never won top prize.                  Â
But he always gave it his his best.

SEATTLE — "The news here Saturday was that, in a major upset, No. 16 Washington defeated No. 9 Washington State, 26-14.
Major? The schools were separated by seven spots in the polls. We’re not talking that kind of upset. We’re talking upset as in “how-dare-you!"
This was the Apple Cup, remember, a fight to the core, so it didn’t take much to stoke emotions.
So, Washington players were watching television Friday night when a news report showed practice footage of Washington State players prancing around at Husky Stadium, calling the place “The Cougs’ House” and jabbering about knocking Washington all the way to the Seattle Bowl.
When will these kids from Pullman ever learn?"
