TRACERS OF LOST PERSONS
From Mr. Keen to Mr. Holmes to Boots On The Ground
Editor's Note: Early in our search for Classmates, we would share clues and "leads" that might bring good news (see "Biographies"), .....or not...(see "Memorials"). Some began to use the "Tracers of Lost Persons" handle.
It triggered a couple of us to capture that part of our journey in prose or verse. Our Moore Avenue team thought Mr.Keen was an appropriate role model. Thanks, Priscilla and Art, for the tapes!
Editor's Note: What follows is a story by Mort Levy. He classifies his style as that of Doctor A.C. Doyle.
From Mort's actual story of his early days, he might have more comfortably told it like Damon Runyan.
Editor's Note #2: In Paragraph three above , Dr. Levy writes : "And to be perfectly clear the School of Medicine itself has changed its name to The David Geffen School of Medicine over the years."
Credible evidence strongly suggests that today "The School of Medicine at UCLA " is "also known as" The DGSOM@UCLA".
(As opposed to "was changed to")
Please refer to "Memorials...U.C.L.A. School of Medicine."
