A feeling of connectedness is often cited as one of the primary factors in preventing suicide. Crisis Support Services of Alameda County has been dedicated to building life-saving connections through our 24hr Crisis Line, Community Education presentations, and therapeutic services aimed at communities experiencing multiple stressors.
This series of panels, which started with our 10-session series during September Suicide Prevention Month of 2020, is inspired by the CSS values of Building Connections, and Committed to Growth. We had 9 additional panels during September Suicide Prevention Month of 2021. All recordings can be seen at respective links.
We believe that through collaborating with others and learning together, we can create stronger communities and more well-rounded helpers. We thank our community partners who are joining us in this important work - your partnership is deeply appreciated.
