The building can get confusing especially for upcoming freshman, and anyone new to the school. However, there are arrows on the floors telling you which was to go. Also, almost every class will have its number labeled outside of the room. If that do not seem to help you then you can always ask a teacher, they are always willing to help. There will always be at least one or two teachers in each hallway. The main building is where almost all the classes are. The first floor is mainly technology, music, art, cafeteria, as well as gym. The second floor is the administration offices. The third floor is mainly for extracurriculars like mathematics. On the fourth floor it is mostly all the science labs, social studies, and business. Now in the Briggs building there are two main floors, the first one is inaccessible. The second floor is language arts, and the third floor has different mixed classes such as English, Science, ECT.
What if I am late because I was talking to a teacher? This is a question many students wonder about. If you are late to a class because you are talking to a teacher, make sure that you get a pass. You need a pass any time you are outside of your classroom. It's a safety measure.
