Seal of Biliteracy

CRLS offers the Seal of Biliteracy to eligible students who have achieved proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. The Seal of Biliteracy was first offered in California in 2008 and has been implemented in a majority of states over the past decade, resulting in increasing recognition across the country both by universities and potential employers. The Seal of Biliteracy, which is affixed to school transcripts, is an official state recognition of achievement in languages.
