Italian/Spanish 3

A passing grade in Italian or Spanish 3 AND on the FLACS B is required in order to receive credit for an Advanced Regents Diploma.

Italian 3

This course follows successful completion of Italian II. Through continued work on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills students will complete their study of the basic grammatical framework essential to eventual mastery of Italian. Many of the lessons will integrate the study of Italian culture, history and geography as well as the role that Italy plays in the world today.

Requirement: FLACS B Exam in June.

Prerequisite: Passing grade in Italian II

Spanish 3

Upon the completion of this course, the student should have the basic framework or structure, which leads to eventual mastery of the language. More speaking is done, as is more advanced reading. Cultural content includes: a survey of Spanish literature, comparison of our culture and the Hispanic culture.

Requirement: FLACS B Exam in June.
