Yes, you can request to change your Associate’s Degree Pathway at the end of a semester. You may not change your degree pathway in the middle of a semester or after Junior year. When can my student test?

Testing for the Early College Program takes place at Goode two times per semester:

  • Fall testing takes place in October

  • Spring testing takes place in April/May

  • Summer testing takes place in early July.

There are two separate Early College entrance exams; ALEKS (Math), and RTW (English). Students are encouraged to take the test they feel most confident in on the first testing day, and take the other test on the second testing day.

When can my student start taking dual enrollment/ dual credit classes?

Students can start taking college level classes as early as the second semester of their Sophomore year once eligible. Passing just 1 of the exams will gain entrance into the early college program, however, in order to be able to take all classes and complete an Associate's degree, students must eventually take and pass both tests. Students cannot start taking classes at the Daley campus until the summer after their Sophomore year when they are rising Juniors.

Additionlly, parents are responsible for checking students Brighstpace account to ensure to students are remianing on track. Goode Staff does not have access to CCC accounts, so grades must be montitored by parents.

Other than those 3 responsibilities the parent has no responsibility, they don't have to pay for anything because all classes are paid for even transportation to and from Daley. Students are allowed to eat at Daley for lunch but the lunches are not paid for if off of Goode's campus.
