Step 1:
Adversity & Innovations
We started this IB unit by learning about inventions and innovations. We also learned about many people who faced adversity.
This week, you'll read about 3 students who faced adversity and about the inventions/innovations that helped them overcome that adversity.
Step 2: Design Process
Instructions: Based on the three profiles you read about (Eli, Taba, and Camille), imagine an additional assistive technology for your choice of ONE of the three people you read about who have a disability.
Draw your model in anyway you would like.
You can create a new slide, you can draw a picture and attach it to an email, or you can draw your model and share it through flip grid. These are just some ways to showcase your design!
You must have VISUAL evidence of your model that would be an additional assistive technology for either Eli, Taba, or Camille.
Remember to include details, such as labeling materials.
Step 3: Share your VISUAL Design
You must share your drawing of your innovation to your teacher. You may use the Google Slides document that is shared in Google Classroom or another way that allows your teacher to see your drawing and your explaination of your design!
